The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, December 24 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will spend Christmas Eve with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will head over to Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) place with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri). And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will exchange gifts.
Y&R spoilers tease Jack and Diane will have the house to themselves on Christmas Eve. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) with be out with their grandson and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be at dinner with Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford).
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane’s New Necklace Belonged To Coco Chanel
Jack and Diane will share a dance. Then, even though they had agreed on no presents for each other this year, they’ll exchange gifts. Diane will get her husband a first edition of Max Factor’s autobiography. As for Jack’s present to Diane, it’ll be a gemmed necklace that had belonged to Coco Chanel.
Over at Billy’s place, Victoria, Johnny, Katie and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be faced with a problem. The Christmas tree is tiny, although Sally will say she likes it. But Billy doesn’t have any ornaments. So, Sally will say she has an idea.
She’ll bring out some cranberries and make a bowl of popcorn, so they can use it as garland. Billy will tell her she’s saved the day and Victoria will say it’s brilliant. Billy and the kids will look for foil in the kitchen to make a star for the top of the little tree.
Victoria will say Billy seems in good spirits. But she’ll want to know how he’s really doing. And Sally will say she does think some of his rage is simmering under the surface. “I don’t doubt his heart it’s just the broken part that worries me.”
Sally will admit she lived through white knuckled optimism before. “My father, he could be so much like Billy.” So, Victoria will ask if Sally’s trying to love Billy, or save him. Sally will talk about one Christmas when she saw an ad on TV for a kid’s sewing machine.
Her father swore up and down that he was going to get it for her. But it wasn’t there Christmas morning. “And neither was my dad.” Sally will say when Billy promised her an amazing future, she realized she can’t do it again. “This has to be real, with Billy.” And Billy will overhear.

The kids will walk in, Katie will put the foil ornament on the tree and they’ll head out with Victoria. Billy will tell Sally he believes in her. “I’m just grateful you’re in my life,” he’ll add. “Merry Christmas.”
Meanwhile, Victor will be surprised to see Nikki at home. “You threatened to leave me,” he’ll remind her. Victor will ask if she’s still angry. “I’m beyond angry, but it’s Christmas, and I want to spend it with family,” she’ll reply.
Victor will agree and he’ll hand his wife a gift. It’s a diamond and ruby necklace. “It’s believed to be part of the collection of Maria Theresa, who was the only female monarch in the Habsburg Empire,” Victor will tell her.
Nikki will ask if she was the mother of Marie Antionette and he’ll say she was. He’ll put it around her neck and tell his wife it’s as beautiful as she is. “Thank you,” Nikki will say and Victor will get teary-eyed. Nikki will get Victor one of Hannah Arendt’s personal journals.
“Woah, she was one of the most important German-American thinkers and philosophers,” Victor will say. Nikki will tell him she knows how much he admires her work. Victor will say he appreciates her being there, especially this day, the 24th of December.
“I was seven years old, my mother left me at an orphanage, because my father left us and we didn’t have enough money.” Nikki will take Victor’s hand and say they have so much to be grateful for and proud of. “Merry Christmas Victor,” she’ll say and Victor will kiss her.
